Meet the Team

Where we came from

The ConeBuddy was envisioned by a man with over 40 years of combined experience in law enforcement and various branches of the military.

He saw a real need for a device that could hold caution tape, allowing users to erect temporary barriers when areas needed to be secured. From here, ring-shaped device that would go over the top of a traffic cone was envisioned. He introduced the idea to the ConeBuddy founders, and the rest is history.

The natural solution for this problem was to combine the caution tape with a readily available resource in almost any situation: traffic cones. From the very first day of the ConeBuddy’s inception, it had all three features still included but took many different forms until the current embodiment was deemed satisfactory.
